Applications are invited in Standard form as Published in Assam Gazette in Part IV from intending candidates who are a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 & 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up the shortfall Mandal posts as mentioned below which are lying vacant under the amalgamated establishment of Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari, Assam.

Qualification required for the Mandal post:

Candidate must have the following educational qualification-

(a) Must have passed HSLC Examination or an equivalent other Examination from Recognized as University or Board.

(b) Must have passed 6(Six) months Recorder’s Certificate Class Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Ghy, Assam.

Total number of post = 17 ( OBC- 11 U/R- 2 ST(P)-2 ST(H)-2 )

Pay Band: (PB-2 ) Rs.14,000-49,000/- plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Minimum Age requirements:

The Candidate should not be more than 38 years of age and not less than 18 years as on 01.01.2018. The upper age limit is relaxable in case of SC, ST categories as per existing Rules.

How to Apply?

Application in Standard Form together with self-certified copies of all testimonials such as Educational Qualification Certificate, Age proof Certificate, Caste Certificate, pass 6(Six) months recorder’s Class Training from Assam survey & Settlement training Centre, Guwahati and should reach the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Nalbari during office hour on all working days. The candidates must write the name of the post applied for on the envelope “Application for the post of Mandal”.

Last date of receipt of Application:

The last date of receipt of the application within 5.00 PM on 26.03.2018. No application shall be entertained after the last date of receipt. The application sent by post should also reach the office of the undersigned within the date and time mentioned above.

Documents required to enclose with the application form:

Candidates shall have to submit 2(Two) copies of recent passport size photograph out of which 1(one) copy shall have to be pasted (Not stapled) on the right top corner of the application form(Standard form) and to be signed by the candidate himself/herself in such a way that part of the signature falls on the photograph and part on the application form, and other two copies shall be signed on the front side and attached with the application form in small envelope.

How to issue of Call Letter?

The Call letters to be issued by registered post to the candidates; which means the call letters will be sent by post to the respective address written on the application form. So, be careful while writing your contact and address details in the standard form.

What is the Selection Procedure?

Candidates will have to appear for an interview/Viva-voce & Practical on their expenses. No T.A/D.The Govt. for this purpose shall bear a (Travelling Allowance & Dearness Allowance). Venue of interview/viva-voce & Practical will be intimated in the call letter.

Important Note:

Govt servant is joining the State Govt. service on or after 1st February 2005 shall not be governed by the existing Assam Service (Pension) Rules, 1969 and other issued thereunder from time to time. So far their pension and other retirement benefits are concerned they will be governed by a new set of pension rules, which have been formulated vide Govt. No.7/2008/Pt/ 40 dated-06/10/2009.

  • Incomplete application will be summarily rejected.
  • The candidates who are called for interview must produce their original testimonials for verification.
  • Canvassing directly or, indirectly will be liable for disqualification.
  • Candidates will have to appear for interview/Viva-voce & Practical on their expenses
