Scale of Pay: Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).Pay scale (PB- 4) Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/-

Eligibility Criteria :

i) The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
ii) The candidate must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of residency with the application. OR
iii) The candidate must produce the registration certificate of Employment Exchange in the state of Assam along with the application form. (Attach self-attested valid supporting documents.)

Education Qualification:

i) Bachelors degree in Electrical/ B.Tech. (Electrical) Engineering from an Indian or Foreign
University recognized by the Government. OR Passed Parts A and B of the Associate membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India).
ii) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least 1(one) official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo), except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Age Limitation: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable:

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.
6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of the candidate as per Govt. Notification No. ABP 144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th October 2015. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation /HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

For PWD Category Candidate:

i) OH with at least one arm and one leg.

Scale of Pay: Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month). Payscale (PB- 3) of Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 11,800/-

Education Qualification: The candidate must have Law Degree with Assamese as one of the subjects in the degree course. (Attach self attested valid supporting documents.)

Age Limitation: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable:

  • (i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.

Education Qualification:

a) A candidate must have passed at least a Second class M.A in Modern Indian History and having a one-year diploma in Archival Science from the National Archives of India, New Delhi.
b) Preference will be given to those having M.Phil or Ph.D. in History.

Experience:

a) At least 6 (six) years experience in the rank of Archivist or in similar higher capacity in this line in any Archival Institution.
b) Preference will be given to the departmental candidates who have 8 (eight) years experience in Archival management in any Govt. Archival Organization.
c) Experience in Archival Planning/Schemes.

Age Limitation:

The candidates should not be less than 45 years of age and not more than 55 years of age as on
01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable:

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.

HOW TO APPLY APSC AE PWD and other post:

  1. Applicants are required to apply online through APSC’s recruitment website. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted and the Application will be summarily rejected.
  2. Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website https://apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link.
  3. Candidates are advised to register with valid and active e-mail address in the online application, as all correspondence will be made through e-mail by the commission. Interview schedule and requirements with regard to copies of certifcates to be submitted in respect of claims made in the online application, will be intimated to the candidates through the website of the commission in due course of time.
  4. After creating an account, applicants need to login with the credentials.
  5. After login, applicant will be able to see the live advertisements of APSC in ‘Apply Section’.
  6. The applicants are advised to read the eligibility criteria and other relevant details carefully before applying for the advertisement. Mandatory fields in the online form are marked with * (asterisk) sign.
  7. Online Application Form is available in English and Assamese Language but it can only be filled in English Language. Applicant can click on ‘Apply’ to fill up the application form.
  8. Upload the documents
  9. An applicant is required to upload the scanned images of his/her recent photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
    • Size of the photograph (passport size) (Min size-20 KB & Max size–200 KB)
    • Size of the signature (Min size-15 KB & Max size–200 KB)
  10. Applicant should carefully fill all the information as asked in the application form and click on the declarations checkbox to enable the ‘Preview’ button before final submission.
  11. After previewing the details filled in by the applicant he/she can either click ‘Submit’ for final submission or click the ‘Cancel’ button for necessary corrections before final submission of the Application Form.
  12. On completion of the form, the submission applicant has to pay the application fee along with the processing fee as applicable.
  13. Application fee once paid by the applicant will not be refunded.
  14. In case of failure of the payment, the applicant should click on the button ‘Validate Payment’ to verify the payment from the bank. In instances of double debit i.e. amount debited twice for the same transaction, the bank will automatically refund the fee to the applicant within 5-7 working days.
  15. On successful completion of your complete application, an auto-generated email message will be sent on your registered email-id.
