Assam Universal Old Age Pension scheme: Govt has announced pension for APL/BPL ration card holders above 60 years of Rs. 300/month.
However, the Vridhavastha pension scheme was launched on 2 Oct 2018 to support the senior citizens of Assam. If you are interested in pension and belongs to a BPL or APL family should avail the benefits from this scheme.
Assam Universal Old Age Pension Scheme Details
Assam govt has started the Universal Old Age Pension scheme taken in view to the senior citizens of the state. They will receive an amount of Rs. 300 per month pension for their daily need after their 60th age.

Eligibility of Universal Old Age Pension Scheme
If you are interested in this scheme can check out whether you are eligible or not? To be eligible for this scheme, you need to be an APL/BPL Ration card holder. Not all the Above Poverty Line (APL) family are eligible for this scheme.
The only eligibility criteria required for the Universal Old Age Pension Scheme is – You need to be an APL/BPL Ration card holder.

How to apply for the scheme?
The application process for this scheme is through offline. Candidates need to visit the Gram Panchayat/ VCDC/ VDC or Block Office and approach them. After that, you have to submit the application at the office.
